The widest band on the panel: ₹55 lakh, 108 months, and a five-minute decision
Figures published by Bajaj Finance as of 3rd August 2026. Indicative, not an offer.
Bajaj Finance is the most flexible lender on the panel and prices accordingly — 10.00% to 30.00% p.a. for salaried applicants, with the top of that band reserved for thin files. It sanctions from ₹40,000 up to ₹55 lakh and stretches the term to 108 months, longer than any bank here, which is what makes a large ticket affordable on a mid-range salary.
Approval decisions come back in about five minutes and money moves the same or next day. The age window runs from 21 all the way to 80, and a bureau score of 685 is enough to be considered, both unusually wide. Chartered accountants and doctors get a dedicated 11% to 19% band and a lower fee.
A thirty-point spread means the rate you are offered matters far more than the headline. Bureau score, employer and existing obligations decide where in the band you land.
| Product or borrower segment | Interest rate |
|---|---|
| Salaried personal loan | 10.00% - 30.00% p.a. |
| Chartered accountants and doctors | 11.00% - 19.00% p.a. |
| Insta personal loan, pre-approved | 16.00% - 31.00% p.a. |
| Flexi term loan | Interest charged only on the amount drawn |
Opens at 10% p.a., the lowest rate Bajaj Finance publishes. Raise it to see what a weaker bureau score would cost you.
Reducing-balance interest, the same basis the lender quotes on. The interest figure is what the loan adds to the amount you borrow.
Early instalments are mostly interest. The principal only starts falling quickly in the closing years, which is why prepaying early saves so much more than prepaying late.
| Year | Principal paid | Interest paid | Balance |
|---|
At 108 months an EMI drops considerably against a five-year term. The trade is total interest, which roughly doubles over that stretch — worth modelling before choosing.
On a Flexi term loan the sanction sits as a limit you draw against, and interest applies only to what has actually been withdrawn.
Few lenders will look at an applicant past 65. Bajaj will, provided income is demonstrable and the tenure ends inside the age cap.
A separate band capped at 19% and a lower processing fee, on the basis that professional practice income is durable.
Processing and foreclosure charges routinely outweigh a small difference in rate. Read these against the rate table above.
Meeting these is what gets the file assessed. Where you land inside the rate band is decided separately, by your bureau record.
Every rate you check and every offer you compare credits coins to your wallet, and they convert 1:1 into rupees.
Bajaj lends across a much broader risk spectrum than a bank does. A strong file lands near 10%; a thin file with a 690 score is priced closer to 30% rather than declined.
It lowers the EMI and raises total interest sharply. On ₹10 lakh at 14%, moving from 60 to 108 months cuts the EMI by roughly a third but adds well over ₹3 lakh of interest across the term.
Interest, when your need for the money is uneven. If you draw ₹4 lakh of a ₹10 lakh limit, interest accrues on ₹4 lakh, though an annual facility charge applies on the full limit.
